HHS501C3 will be providing Equine Assisted Learning to a group of seniors from the Washington, DC, area who are experiencing food insecurity, loneliness, and isolation. This program is in collaboration with the East of The River Regional Socialization Hub. We are beyond excited to see where this collaboration takes us and for these individuals to experience the herd, the farm, and the benefits of being in nature with an emphasis on connection and mindfulness. This program is funded for one year through 2025.
